Hawthorn, known as one of the oldest medicinal plants, enjoys a long history as the herb to strengthen your heart, emotionally and physically. The hawthorn berry may help with blood pressure, act as an antioxidant, relaxant & tonic.

One unique characteristic of Hawthorn Berries is their tendency to develop a white film on the outer skin. This is a natural occurrence, indicating the maturation of sucrose in the berry, and should not be mistaken for mould.

The berries arrived whole and mostly intact, with that deep red color you want in wildcrafted hawthorn. I've been steeping a spoonful in hot water before bed and the tart, slightly floral taste is way better than the powdered stuff I used to buy.
