These whole buds are incredibly aromatic—just a couple in my rice while it cooks gives the whole dish a warm, spicy depth. They’re also fresher than any clove I’ve bought before.

I’ve been adding these buds to my evening rice and they’re so fresh and aromatic that even a tiny pinch fills the whole pot with that warm, spicy clove scent. The buds are firm and intact, not crumbled like some older stock I’ve gotten before. A solid staple for both my chai and my stews.

The whole buds are noticeably plumper and oilier than the jarred ones from my supermarket, and you can smell that sharp sweetness the second the lid comes off. I've been grinding a few into my rice dishes and mulled tea, and a little goes a long way.
