Historically, cornsilk has been used by various indigenous cultures for its soothing properties and as a natural remedy for a variety of ailments. Some of the potential benefits attributed to cornsilk include support for urinary health and anti-inflammatory effects.

roduct Origin: Imported

Brewing Instructions:

Use quality filtered water if possible to ensure a superior cup of tea. To brew corn silk tea, rinse a handful of dried corn silks, then boil them in 2 - 4 cups of water for 10 – 15 minutes. For a milder tea, steep them in hot water for 5 – 10 minutes instead. Strain, and optionally add honey or lemon to taste. It can be served hot or cold

Grace B. ★★★★★

Brewed a cup this morning and was surprised by the subtle sweetness and how smooth it is without any bitterness. The cut is consistently fine, so no awkward clumping in the strainer. Perfect for a calming afternoon tea.

Owen ★★★★★

The fine, thread-like fibers stayed intact and looked exactly like fresh corn silk, which made me trust the quality right away. Steeped a generous pinch for about ten minutes and the tea came out light golden with that mild, slightly sweet grassy note I was hoping for. Already reordered a bigger bag

James ★★★★★

Steeped a small handful in hot water for about 10 minutes and got a surprisingly sweet, grassy cup without any bitterness. The fibers are clean and well-cut, not dusty at the bottom of the bag.
