Hops is a herb that is native to Europe and has been traditionally used to improve digestion, help with PMS, menopause and IBS. It is reputed to be useful in assisting with insomnia, tension and anxiety and for kidney function.
Historically hops was used as an ingredient in beer and was reputedly even used as a blood cleanser, to relieve minor pain and to reduce fever.
